The small village of Castlecary, is home to Castlecary House Hotel, a former 19th Century coaching inn; now a 3-star hotel managed by the same family for over 40 years and where a warm and friendly welcome awaits you.

Ideally situated in the heart of Central Scotland only moments from the M80, and within a few minutes from Scotland's main motorway network incorporating M8/M9/M73/M74, we are very easily accessible by car. Mainline trains stop nearby and the local bus stops right outside. Cumbernauld Airport is only a couple of miles from us too, a busy hub for small light aircraft and helicopters.

Many of the major towns and cities of Central Scotland, such as Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh as well as some of the countries most beautiful scenery, and tourist attractions are within easy reach of us providing an ideal base for leisure as well as business travel.

Attractions such as the outstanding Falkirk Wheel, Historic Stirling Castle and the Forth and Clyde Canal are only a short distance away.

Only a short stroll away is The Antonine Wall, which holds World Heritage Status, and is Scotland's fifth Heritage Site. We understand that this site was once one of nineteen forts along the full length of the wall. There is little to see now, however, it is still worth visiting, with a little imagination! Access is gained directly from our hotel car park and the gate is clearly marked with two foreboding soldiers standing guard. Visitors are welcome to park in our car park free of charge if visiting the site and we of course welcome you to pop into the hotel for refreshments after discovering this major historical empire for yourselves.
